Keyshawn Johnson, former NFL star and current FOX Sports analyst, is returning to his Los Angeles roots in a new limited series titled "LA Legends". The series, which premiered on June 30th, 2025, is part of Johnson's digital show "All Facts No Brakes". In "LA Legends," Johnson explores the city that shaped him, interviewing iconic figures who have left their mark on Los Angeles.

Johnson, a proud Los Angeles native, having grown up in South Central LA and attended Susan Miller Dorsey High School, aims to capture the essence of the city through conversations with fellow legends. He revisits significant landmarks and delves into the experiences that molded these individuals' careers and their impact on the broader culture of Los Angeles. Johnson himself is considered an "L.A. Legend", known as the pride of Dorsey High and USC, and was the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft.

The series features a diverse range of guests, including athletes, musicians, and other influential figures deeply connected to Los Angeles. Some of the featured guests include Baron Davis, Trevor Ariza, Candace Parker, Cheryl Miller and Ice Cube. In the first episode, "South Central Stars," Johnson is joined by DeSean Jackson, Baron Davis, and Paul Pierce to discuss how growing up in South Central Los Angeles influenced their mindsets and paths to success. Another episode, "Women's Hoops Pioneers," features Candace Parker and Cheryl Miller discussing their impact on women's basketball. Furthermore, Lil Eazy-E, DJ Yella, and Arabian Prince pay tribute to N.W.A's South Central LA roots and cultural impact in an episode. Ice Cube also sits down for a one-on-one conversation.

Johnson's connection to Los Angeles is deeply personal. He overcame a challenging upbringing to become one of the NFL's best wide receivers. Football may be his profession, but Los Angeles is his passion. Being an LA legend is almost like being a folk hero, a dream for many kids growing up in South Los Angeles.

New episodes of "LA Legends" are released weekly at 9 a.m. ET on "All Facts No Brakes," which is available on YouTube and podcast platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts. The series aims to provide an authentic and unfiltered look into the lives and experiences of those who have helped shape the cultural landscape of Los Angeles.
