Injuries have contributed to the Mets' pitching woes, and the offense has struggled with runners on base, despite hitting the sixth-most home runs in baseball, they are 13th in runs scored.

New features for fans include a food truck park called "The Alley" and a facial-authentication ticketing system. The Mets will retire number 5, which was worn by former Mets captain David Wright, and induct him into the Mets Hall of Fame on July 19th.
