Asia Cup 2025 (September)
India's next assignment is the Asia Cup in September, to be held in the United Arab Emirates. The tournament will be played in the T20I format. India will face the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on September 10, followed by a high-voltage match against Pakistan on September 14, and then Oman on September 19.
With senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli having retired from T20Is after the 2024 World Cup, a relatively young squad led by Suryakumar Yadav is expected to participate. Selectors might rest some Test regulars from the England series to manage their workload.
West Indies Tour of India (October)
In October, India will return to the red-ball format, hosting the West Indies for a two-match Test series.
