Arteta's Injury Report: Trossard's Status for Arsenal's Crucial Match Against Chelsea Revealed.

Arsenal's manager, Mikel Arteta, has provided an update on the fitness of Leandro Trossard ahead of their Premier Leaguematch against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Trossard was subbed off in the first half of Arsenal's 3-1 Champions League victory over Bayern Munich on Wednesday after feeling discomfort.

Arteta revealed that Trossard's withdrawal was a precautionary measure. "With Leo, we don't know," Arteta said, "He said he felt something, we didn't want to take any risk, obviously". The extent of Trossard's injury is still uncertain, and it could potentially end his run of eight consecutive Premier League starts.

Trossard's form has been a key factor in Arsenal's success this season. He has scored five goals in 15 appearances and has a knack for delivering in crucial moments. He has scored in three of his last five league appearances, including the last two against Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur. His absence would be a blow to Arsenal's attack.

If Trossard is unavailable, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli are potential replacements. Madueke, who replaced Trossard against Bayern Munich and scored, is a natural option. Eberechi Eze could also be an option on the left flank, though he is more likely to play in the No. 10 role, unless Martin Odegaard starts.

Odegaard made his return from a knee injury against Bayern Munich. Gabriel Magalhaes is still out with an adductor injury sustained while on international duty with Brazil. Gabriel Jesus is back in full training after recovering from an ACL injury.

Arsenal are currently at the top of the Premier League table, holding a six-point lead over Chelsea. Arteta has highlighted Chelsea's recent 3-0 Champions League win over Barcelona, acknowledging the challenge his team faces. "We know, and you just have to watch the game they played against Barcelona (on Tuesday) to understand how difficult and tough (it would be) and what a good team Chelsea are," he said.
