Upper Deck and Hockey Canada Continue Successful Collaboration, Renewing Partnership Before Prestigious World Juniors Tournament.

Upper Deck has announced an extension of its partnership with Hockey Canada ahead of the highly anticipated World Junior Championship. The agreement, building on a collaboration that began in 2012, ensures that Upper Deck will continue to produce exclusive trading cards and memorabilia celebrating Canada's rich hockey legacy.

As the hockey world gears up for major international tournaments, including the World Junior Championship, this renewed partnership ensures that fans and collectors around the globe will have access to authentic Hockey Canada merchandise featuring both current stars and legendary players.

Jason Masherah, President of Upper Deck, emphasized the significance of this continued collaboration, noting Hockey Canada's pivotal role in shaping the sport. He highlighted the company's passion for translating this legacy into trading cards and memorabilia, particularly with the upcoming international competitions.

Under the extended agreement, Upper Deck will continue to create physical and digital collectibles that capture memorable moments from Team Canada's competitions, including the World Junior Championship and other prominent international events.

Collectors can look forward to the release of the 2026 Upper Deck Team Canada Collection early next year. This premium collection will feature autographs from active NHL stars, adding to the excitement for collectors.

Hockey Canada has a total of 27 partners contributing to the World Juniors in Ottawa, including 10 tournament partners. Esso, TELUS, Tim Hortons, Bauer, BFL CANADA, PepsiCo, OK Tire, Timber Mart, AMJ Campbell and SportsPay are among Hockey Canada's 11 corporate partners activating at this year's tournament. Access Storage, BUMP, Bumper to Bumper, Canadian Blood Services, FLO, LP Building Solutions, Myers Automotive Group, Niagara College, Supplement King and Walker Real Estate Group with RE/MAX are the 10 event partners supporting the delivery of the tournament.

In other news for Hockey Canada, the organization has announced that the National Junior Team will host training camp in Niagara Falls, Ontario, from December 12-22. This camp will serve as preparation for a three-game pre-tournament schedule leading up to the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship in St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dates and locations for the pre-tournament games will be announced later.
