This match marks a historic moment, as either Inter Miami or Vancouver Whitecaps will become the 16th club to lift the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy.

Both teams are coming into the final with significant momentum. Inter Miami advanced after a dominant 5-1 victory over New York City FC in the Eastern Conference Final. Vancouver secured their place by defeating the Western Conference regular-season winners, San Diego, with a 3-1 win.

This final also presents a compelling narrative: a clash between global icons Lionel Messi and Thomas Müller. Throughout their careers, Müller holds a 7-3 record against Messi in the 10 games they've faced each other.

Inter Miami's predicted lineup includes Rios Novo in goal; Fray, Falcon, Allen, and Alba in defense; Busquets, De Paul, and Rodriguez in midfield; and Allende, Messi, and Silvetti in attack. Notably, Luis Suarez is expected to start on the bench for the third consecutive game.
