Manchester United stars Harry Maguire, Andre Onana, and Diogo Dalot are set to visit India on May 29, 2025, to launch the fifth season of the "United We Play" program. This grassroots football initiative is organized by Apollo Tyres in collaboration with Manchester United. The players' visit aims to promote football among young talents in India and engage with the club's passionate fanbase.

This marks the second time that current Manchester United players have visited India for the "United We Play" initiative. In December 2022, David De Gea, Anthony Elanga, and Donny van de Beek visited Goa for the same purpose.

During their visit, Maguire, Onana, and Dalot will participate in various activities, including launching the new season of "United We Play" and interacting with young footballers. Goalkeeper Andre Onana expressed his excitement about the visit, stating, "We are looking forward to engaging with everyone in India to launch the new season of United We Play and promote our sport to the next generation of stars. We are also excited to see the fans over there, to thank them for their passionate and loyal support".

"United We Play" is a pan-India initiative by Apollo Tyres that aims to support young footballers by providing them with a platform to showcase their skills. The program motivates aspiring footballers to continue playing by engaging with them and introducing them to global training methods.

Rajesh Dahiya, Vice President, Commercial (India, SAARC and Southeast Asia), Apollo Tyres Ltd, noted the success of the previous season, which featured a visit from Manchester United legend Gary Neville. He stated that over 15,000 young footballers from across the country participated in the fourth season of "United We Play," reaching 18 cities. The program also engaged over 100 coaches through virtual Manchester United Soccer Schools training sessions, ensuring that the training methods reached every footballer involved. The initiative has expanded to other cities in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, including Kathmandu, Bangkok, Dhaka, and Dubai.

The visit by Maguire, Onana, and Dalot underscores Manchester United's commitment to growing its fanbase and supporting grassroots football development in India. It also highlights the importance of partnerships between sports clubs and businesses in promoting sports and engaging with communities.
