The Indian women's cricket team is gearing up for their tour of England with a slight adjustment to their squad. Left-arm spinner Radha Yadav has been named as the replacement for the injured Shuchi Upadhyay for the upcoming series comprising five T20Is and three ODIs, set to commence on June 28, 2025.

Upadhyay, a 20-year-old left-arm spinner, recently made her ODI debut during the tri-series in Sri Lanka last month. Unfortunately, she sustained a left shin injury during the pre-tour camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru, which has ruled her out of the England tour. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the change, stating that the Women's Selection Committee has named Radha Yadav as Upadhyay's replacement.

Radha Yadav is an experienced campaigner who will add depth to both the T20I and ODI squads. Meanwhile, Shafali Verma has made a comeback to the T20I team, having been absent since the T20 World Cup in UAE last year. Her inclusion follows a strong showing in domestic cricket and WPL 2025, where she amassed 304 runs in nine innings with a strike rate of 152.76. Pacer Sayali Satghare has also been included in both squads.

India will play five T20Is and three ODIs against England. The England team will be led by Nat Sciver-Brunt as their new captain, with Charlotte Edwards as the head coach.

India's T20I squad: Harmanpreet Kaur (C), Smriti Mandhana (VC), Shafali Verma, Dayalan Hemalatha, Richa Ghosh (WK), Jemimah Rodrigues, S Meghana, Deepti Sharma, Poonam Yadav, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Sayali Satghare, Simran Bahadur, Meghna Singh, Renuka Singh, Radha Yadav

India's ODI squad: Mithali Raj (C), Harmanpreet Kaur (VC), Smriti Mandhana, Punam Raut, Deepti Sharma, Jhulan Goswami, Tanuja Kanwar, Sneh Rana, Taniya Bhatia (WK), Indrani Roy (WK), Poonam Yadav, Ekta Bisht, Meghna Singh, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Sayali Satghare, Shikha Pandey, Radha Yadav
