Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the 14-year-old cricketing sensation who recently made headlines for his record-breaking performances in the IPL, has been the subject of much discussion, not only for his talent but also for his physical transformation. His father has revealed details about the dietary changes Vaibhav has undergone to manage his weight and maintain peak fitness.

Vaibhav's coach, Manish Ojha, disclosed that the young cricketer had to make significant sacrifices regarding his diet to achieve his current level of fitness. Vaibhav, like many children his age, had a fondness for certain foods that were not conducive to his athletic goals. "Mutton nahi khana hai usko, instructions hain. Pizza hata diya hai uske diet chart mein se," Ojha stated, emphasizing the strict dietary guidelines Vaibhav now adheres to. This translates to "He is not allowed to eat mutton, these are the instructions. Pizza has been removed from his diet chart."

Suryavanshi's father, Sanjiv, mentioned that his son particularly loved chicken. “If you give him chicken to eat, you will eventually have to take his hands away, because he will never stop eating,” he chuckled. However, it was also revealed that Vaibhav also had a fondness for mutton and pizza. "He is just fond of chicken and mutton. He is a kid, so he used to love pizza a lot. But he doesn't eat it anymore. When we used to give him mutton, no matter how much we gave, he would finish all of it. That's why he looks a bit chubby." This fondness for mutton, in particular, contributed to him gaining weight.

To combat this, a conscious decision was made to eliminate mutton and pizza from his diet. This change, while challenging for a young teenager, was crucial in ensuring he maintained the fitness levels required for his demanding cricketing schedule. It demonstrates Vaibhav's maturity and dedication to his dream, understanding the sacrifices needed to excel in his sport.

The revamped diet is now focused on "clean food," including chicken and other nutritious options. Avoiding unhealthy snacks is another critical aspect, with nuts and seeds being readily available to satisfy hunger and maintain energy levels. This prevents cravings for junk food and contributes significantly to his overall fitness and focus.

Vaibhav's daily routine also includes intense weight training and cardio exercises, further contributing to his physical conditioning. Running and sprinting form the core of his warm-up, sharpening his speed and stamina, essential for his swift movements on the field. Moreover, he incorporates HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) into his cardio routines to boost mobility and flexibility. Vaibhav always ends his training sessions with static stretches as part of his cool-down, relaxing his muscles and preventing injury.

Vaibhav's story is one of talent nurtured through dedication and sacrifice. His father's unwavering support, including selling land to fund his training, combined with Vaibhav's commitment to fitness and dietary discipline, has paved the way for his remarkable achievements. Despite initial concerns about his weight, Vaibhav's willingness to adapt his lifestyle and embrace a healthier diet has been instrumental in his success, proving that even the youngest stars must prioritize fitness to reach the pinnacle of their sport.
