Real Betis and Villarreal have secured the signings of Alvaro Valles and Alberto Moleiro, respectively, from Las Palmas, marking a significant reshaping of the squad. These moves come as Las Palmas faces the aftermath of a challenging season, impacting their roster.

Real Betis has officially announced the acquisition of goalkeeper Alvaro Valles on a five-year contract. The 27-year-old's move represents a return to his roots, as he previously spent time in Betis's youth system. Valles arrives on a free transfer, his contract running until June 2030. He brings experience, having made 132 league appearances for Las Palmas. His addition aims to bolster Betis's squad as they gear up for the Europa League next season, following their sixth-place finish in La Liga and their journey to the Conference League final last season. Despite interest from Olympique de Marseille, Valles chose to return to Betis.

Meanwhile, winger Alberto Moleiro is heading to Villarreal, also signing a contract until June 2030. The 21-year-old is considered a promising talent. Moleiro's arrival at Villarreal could pave the way for Alex Baena's potential transfer to Atletico Madrid, with reports suggesting Atletico is willing to pay around 50 million euros for the Spanish international. Moleiro made his debut with UD Las Palmas on August 15, 2021, and has since played 147 official matches with the club. In the 2024/25 season, Moleiro played the most minutes for UD Las Palmas, totaling 2,727 minutes over 35 games.
