Fixture Release Date and Time

Mark your calendars! The fixtures for the Sky Bet Championship, League One, and League Two will be released on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 12:00 PM (BST). At this time, every team across these three divisions will discover their complete schedule for the new season.

How to Access the Fixtures

There are several ways to ensure you get the schedules as soon as they are released:

  • EFL Official Channels: Visit EFL.com and the EFL's official social media channels for complete coverage, including key dates and exclusive content.
  • EFL's ECAL: Sync your calendar with the EFL's ECAL. This will automatically update your phone's calendar with all the fixtures as soon as they are announced. This includes fixtures for the Carabao Cup and the Vertu Trophy, in addition to the individual league schedules.

Season Kick-Off Dates

The 2025/26 EFL season will commence at different times for different leagues:

The final games of the regular season will be played on the weekend of May 2/3, 2026.

Carabao Cup and Vertu Trophy

Fixture Release Day will also include the draws for the early rounds of the Carabao Cup and the Vertu Trophy. Both draws will be broadcast live on Sky Sports News.

  • Vertu Trophy Group Stage Draw: 2:30 PM on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
  • Carabao Cup Round One Draw: 4:30 PM on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

The Carabao Cup will begin in mid-August, with Round One taking place during the week commencing August 11, 2025, and the final will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The Vertu Trophy will commence in early September, with the first round during the week of September 1, 2025, and the final on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
