The United States Men's National Team (USMNT) secured their place in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup with a 2-1 victory over Haiti. The match, played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, saw the USMNT complete Group D with a perfect record of three wins.

Malik Tillman opened the scoring for the United States early in the game, finding the net with a header just over 10 minutes into the match. Brenden Aaronson delivered a precise cross to the far post, and Tillman's header had enough power to beat the Haitian goalkeeper. This was Tillman's third goal of the tournament, putting him in a tie for the lead in goals scored with Costa Rica's Manfred Ugalde. Aaronson's assist was a standout moment, highlighting his determination to make an impact.

Haiti, desperate for a win to keep their Gold Cup hopes alive, fought back and created some nervy moments for the US defense. Matt Freese, the US goalkeeper, was called into action, making a crucial save to deny Haiti an equalizer.

In the second half, Patrick Agyemang scored what proved to be the winning goal for the United States. Agyemang's goal gave the USMNT a 2-1 lead. Haiti managed to get a goal back through Louicius Don Deedson, but it wasn't enough to prevent the US from taking all three points.

The victory means the USMNT won Group D and now await their opponent in the quarterfinals, which will be either Costa Rica or Mexico. Saudi Arabia also advanced to the quarterfinals as runners-up in Group D, while Haiti and Trinidad & Tobago were eliminated from the tournament.

Several US players had notable performances. In addition to Tillman's goal and Aaronson's assist, Quinn Sullivan was active on the right side, creating opportunities and testing the Haitian defense. Ultimately, the USMNT were able to secure the victory and advance to the next stage of the Gold Cup.
