The United States Men's National Team (USMNT) secured a 2-1 victory against Haiti in their recent CONCACAF Gold Cup group stage match, held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on June 22, 2025. This win ensured the USMNT clinched Group D with a perfect record of three wins, advancing to the quarterfinals.

The match saw an early goal from Malik Tillman in the 10th minute, putting the USMNT ahead. Brenden Aaronson delivered a precise cross, which Tillman headed into the net. However, Haiti responded quickly, with Louicius Don Deedson scoring in the 19th minute, leveling the score.

The game remained tied until the 75th minute, when Patrick Agyemang scored, securing the lead and ultimately the win for the United States. John Tolkin delivered a well-placed ball from the left back, finding Agyemang, who capitalized on the opportunity.

Despite the victory, the USMNT's performance was not without its challenges. Goalkeeper Matt Freese had a notable error that led to Haiti's equalizing goal. The match was physically demanding, with a collision between Freese and Haiti's Ruben Providence causing a pause in play for medical attention.

Throughout the match, both teams displayed moments of strong play. The USMNT's midfield, including players like Brenden Aaronson and Malik Tillman, created several opportunities. Late substitutions, including Diego Luna, Johnny Cardoso, and Paxten Aaronson, aimed to solidify the USMNT's advantage and close out the game.

With this win, the United States moves on to the quarterfinals. Haiti and Trinidad & Tobago have been eliminated from the competition. The USMNT now awaits to find out whether they will face Costa Rica or Mexico in the next round.
