Yash Dayal, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer, is facing serious allegations after a woman filed a complaint accusing him of exploitation under the guise of marriage. The complainant, a resident of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, has lodged her complaint on the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's online grievance portal, IGRS.
The woman alleges a five-year-long relationship with Dayal, during which she was subjected to mental, emotional, and physical exploitation, with Dayal allegedly misleading her with promises of marriage. She claims that Dayal introduced her to his family as his future wife, further solidifying her trust in him. However, when she realized she was being deceived and protested, she faced physical violence and mental harassment.
In addition to the allegations of emotional and physical abuse, the woman has also accused Dayal of financial exploitation. She claims that he took money from her during their relationship and that he has a history of similar behavior with other women. The woman states that she possesses substantial evidence to support her claims, including chat records, screenshots, video calls, and photos.
The Chief Minister's Office has taken cognizance of the complaint and has requested a report from the Circle Officer (CO) of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. Police have been given until July 21 to resolve the matter. The complainant had also contacted the women's helpline on June 14, 2025, but the process reportedly did not progress at the police station.
The woman has expressed that she is mentally and socially distressed and is seeking justice through the Chief Minister's Office. She hopes that swift action will be taken against Dayal, not only for her own sake but also for other women who may fall victim to similar deceitful relationships.
Dayal's alleged actions have cast a shadow over his recent success with RCB, who won the IPL title this year. The allegations could have serious repercussions for his career and reputation.
Authorities are currently investigating the matter, and further details are awaited. The investigation will likely involve examining the evidence presented by the complainant and potentially questioning Dayal and other relevant parties. The outcome of the investigation will determine the course of legal action, if any, to be taken against the cricketer.
