Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Yash Dayal is facing serious allegations from a woman who claims he exploited her under the false promise of marriage. The woman, a resident of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, has filed a complaint through the Chief Minister's online grievance portal (IGRS), seeking justice and accusing Dayal of emotional, physical, and mental abuse over a period of five years.
In her complaint, the woman stated that Dayal misled her with repeated promises of marriage and introduced her to his family as their future daughter-in-law, which deepened her trust in him. She alleges that she was emotionally, mentally, and physically exploited under this belief. According to the FIR, when she confronted Dayal about his alleged betrayal, she faced physical assault and severe mental harassment. She also claims that she was made emotionally and financially dependent on him during their relationship, only to later discover that he was allegedly involved with other women at the same time. The woman alleges that Dayal also took money from her.
Feeling helpless and unsupported, the woman reached out to the women's helpline (181) on June 14, 2025, but claims the matter stalled at the police station level. With limited financial means and lacking social support, she then turned to the Chief Minister's office for help. The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) has requested a report from the Circle Officer (CO) of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, and has given the police until July 21 to resolve the complaint.
The woman claims to possess substantial evidence to support her accusations, including chat logs, screenshots of conversations, video call recordings, and photographs. She is seeking a swift and impartial investigation, emphasizing that action in this case could protect other women from facing similar experiences. She stated that her request isn't just about justice for her but for all women who've been misled and wronged in relationships like this.
Yash Dayal, 27, played a crucial role in RCB's IPL 2025 championship win earlier this month, taking 13 wickets in 15 matches. He has represented Uttar Pradesh in all domestic formats and is yet to make his debut for India.
The allegations have gained attention on social media, with the woman appealing to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for intervention and support. Dayal has not yet made any public statement addressing the allegations.
