Michelle Agyemang is a rising star in English football, currently playing as a forward for Women's Super League club Arsenal. Born on February 3, 2006, the 19-year-old has quickly gained recognition for her goal-scoring ability and impact on the field.

Agyemang's journey with Arsenal began at a young age, joining the club's academy at just six years old. Her dedication and talent saw her rise through the ranks, becoming a key player for the academy team. In the 2022-2023 season, she showcased her prowess by becoming the academy's top goal scorer across all competitions. Her impressive statistics at the U21 academy level placed her among the top goal scorers, further solidifying her potential.

Agyemang made her senior debut for Arsenal in November 2022 at age 16. She scored her first senior goal in a 9-0 FA Cup victory against Leeds United two months later. To gain experience, she was loaned to Watford in the Women's Championship. Although an injury hampered her time there, she managed to score four league goals before returning to Arsenal. Following her return, Agyemang signed her first professional contract with Arsenal in May 2024. Michelle also spent time on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion.

At the international level, Agyemang has represented England at the U17, U19, U23 and senior levels. She starred for England at the 2022 Women's Under-17 Euros, scoring four goals en route to the semi-finals. She also scored a hat-trick in a record 10-0 win over Lithuania at the Under-19 Euros in the summer of 2024, helping the Young Lionesses reach the semi-finals.

Agyemang received her first call-up to the England senior squad on April 6, 2025, replacing the injured Alessia Russo. Just two days later, she made her senior debut as a substitute in a UEFA Nations League match against Belgium. Making an instant impact, Agyemang scored her first senior international goal just 41 seconds after being introduced, although England lost the match 3-2. This memorable debut led to her being awarded legacy number 234 by the Football Association. In June 2025, Agyemang was named in England's squad for the UEFA Euro 2025.

Leah Williamson, England's captain, has been impressed by Agyemang's impact. Williamson recalls Agyemang's assertive presence when she first joined the senior team at Arsenal. Agyemang's confidence and skill were evident, leaving a lasting impression on Williamson. Williamson also noted Agyemang's ability to deliver under pressure, recalling a training session where Agyemang scored a remarkable goal after Williamson demanded a pass.

Agyemang's rapid rise and impressive performances have positioned her as a player with a bright future. Her goal-scoring record, coupled with her determination and work ethic, has led many to believe that she has the potential to become a key player for both Arsenal and England. As the youngest member of the Lionesses squad at Euro 2025, she is eager to continue learning and contributing to the team's success.
