Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Yash Dayal is facing serious allegations from a woman in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, who claims to have been in a five-year-long relationship with the cricketer. The woman has filed a complaint accusing Dayal of emotional, mental, and physical exploitation under the false promise of marriage.
According to the complaint, which was submitted through the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's online grievance portal (IGRS), Dayal allegedly misled the woman with repeated promises of marriage over the past five years. She claims that Dayal introduced her to his family as their future daughter-in-law, which made her trust him completely. The woman alleges that she was exploited emotionally, mentally, and physically throughout the relationship.
The complainant states that when she confronted Dayal about his alleged relationships with other women, she faced physical violence and severe mental harassment. She also alleges that she was made emotionally and financially dependent on him during their relationship, only to later discover that he was reportedly involved with other women at the same time. The woman claims to possess evidence such as "chat records, screenshots, video calls, and photos" to support her accusations, alleging that Dayal has engaged in similar behavior with other women.
Frustrated by the lack of action after initially reporting the matter to the police on June 14, 2025, the woman turned to the Chief Minister's office for help. She claims that her attempts to seek assistance from the women's helpline (181) were also unsuccessful. The Chief Minister's office has responded by seeking a formal report from the Circle Officer (CO) of Indirapuram, with the Ghaziabad police reportedly given a deadline of July 21 to act on the matter.
The woman's complaint emphasizes the importance of a swift and impartial investigation, stating that action in this case could protect other women from facing similar experiences. She seeks legal action against Dayal, emphasizing that her request is not just about justice for herself, but for all women who have been misled and wronged in similar relationships.
Yash Dayal was part of RCB's IPL 2025 title win earlier this month, taking 13 wickets in 15 matches. He has represented Uttar Pradesh in all domestic formats and is yet to make his India debut.
