Milwaukee Brewers' right-handed pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has been named the National League Rookie of the Month for June. This announcement was made on MLB Network earlier today. Misiorowski is the first Brewers rookie to win a monthly award since his teammate Joey Ortiz won the award last May.

The 23-year-old Misiorowski made quite an impression in June. Through three starts, he went 3-0 with a minuscule 1.13 ERA. In 16 innings pitched, he only allowed two earned runs and three hits, while striking out 19 batters.

Misiorowski is the eighth Brewer to win the NL Rookie of the Month award. He joins a list that includes Ben Sheets (June 2001), Scott Podsednik (August 2003), Prince Fielder (April 2006), Ryan Braun (June & July 2007), Casey McGehee (September 2009), Keston Hiura (July 2019), and Joey Ortiz (May 2025). Misiorowski is only the second Brewers pitcher to win the award, the first being Ben Sheets. He is also the first pitcher to win the award since Paul Skenes won it in September of last year.

Making his first MLB start in early June, the Missouri native quickly made a name for himself. Misiorowski started his career by throwing five no-hit innings. He followed that start by taking a perfect game into the sixth inning in his next outing.

In the American League, Nick Kurtz of the Oakland Athletics was named AL Rookie of the Month.
