Kelsey Mitchell's season-high 35 points propelled the Indiana Fever to a 93-78 victory over their rival, the Chicago Sky, on Sunday. The Fever's dominant performance at the United Center improved their record to 14-12.

Mitchell's outstanding performance included seven 3-pointers. Aliyah Boston contributed a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, along with six assists. Makayla Timpson added a career-high 14 points off the bench. Chloe Bibby made her Fever debut, scoring eight points.

The Fever started strong, leading the Sky 26-13 after the first quarter, with Mitchell scoring 13 points, including three 3-pointers. Indiana maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second quarter, thanks to Aari McDonald's eight points and Boston's six, ending the half ahead 51-39.

The Sky narrowed the gap in the third quarter, pulling within 56-55, but Mitchell responded with a 3-pointer and a layup, followed by consecutive baskets from Timpson, extending the lead to 65-55. A buzzer-beater by Lexie Hull ended the third quarter with the Fever leading 75-61. Indiana closed the game with a 9-0 run to seal the victory.

Mitchell's performance marked her ninth career 30-point game and her 100th career 20-point game, second in franchise history behind Tamika Catchings. She also recorded her 200th career steal, surpassing Erica Wheeler for seventh most in franchise history.

The Fever's victory was achieved without Caitlin Clark, who missed her fourth consecutive game due to a groin injury. The Fever have won their third straight game without Clark. Angel Reese was also absent for the Sky, missing her second straight game with a back issue.

Rachel Banham led the Sky with 26 points, including six 3-pointers. Kia Nurse added 14 points, Rebecca Allen 13, and Kamilla Cardoso had 12 points and 12 rebounds. The Fever capitalized on 23 turnovers by the Sky, converting them into 31 points.

The Fever have dominated the Sky this season, securing their third double-digit win over them. The Indiana Fever's season is the franchise's 26th season in the WNBA. They went 4-1 during the 2025 WNBA Commissioner's Cup game play. They defeated the Minnesota Lynx 74-59 in the final, despite Clark's absence, to claim the mid-season trophy.
