Despite not starting any games, Chloe Kelly's crucial contributions to England's Euro 2025 victory have earned her a place in the Team of the Tournament. Alongside three other Lionesses, Kelly's inclusion highlights the significant impact she had on England's success, despite her role as a substitute.

Kelly cemented her place in England's footballing history, repeating her Euro 2022 heroics, by scoring the winning penalty in the final against Spain. Her decisive spot-kick secured England's second consecutive European Championship, sparking scenes of jubilation. Notably, she also scored the winning goal against Italy in the semi-final.

The Arsenal forward displayed remarkable composure under pressure. "I don't miss penalties twice," Kelly told the BBC, exuding confidence after the match. "I was cool. I was composed then. I knew I was gonna hit the back of the net".

Kelly's impact wasn't limited to the final. In the match against Spain, after coming on as a substitute for the injured Lauren James in the first half, Kelly assisted Alessia Russo's equalizing goal. Her ability to create opportunities and deliver in crucial moments proved invaluable to England's campaign.

Besides Kelly, other England players made it into the Euro 2025 Team of the Tournament, including Hannah Hampton, Lucy Bronze, and Alessia Russo. Hampton's goalkeeping heroics, particularly during penalty shootouts, were pivotal to England's triumph. Bronze's relentless defense and leadership were instrumental throughout the competition, even playing with a fractured leg. Russo's goal-scoring ability and contributions in the final earned her a spot alongside Kelly in the forward line.

The inclusion of four Spanish players – Irene Paredes, Patri Guijarro, Aitana Bonmati, and Alexia Putellas – acknowledges their team's strong performance despite the final defeat. Germany, despite losing in the semi-finals, also had multiple players selected including Jule Brand and Ann-Katrin Berger. Italy's Elena Linari and Franziska Kett from Germany, complete the lineup.

Several other players were recognized for their outstanding performances throughout the tournament. Germany's goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger, was recognized for her outstanding performance. Ella Toone was also commended for her impact on England's fluidity and balance in midfield.

The Women's Euro 2025 showcased exceptional talent and intense competition, culminating in England's dramatic victory. While many players shone throughout the tournament, Chloe Kelly's resilience, clutch performances, and winning penalty have solidified her place as a key figure in England's continued success.
