This loss marks India's third consecutive defeat in the European leg of the Pro League.

Argentina started strongly, with Matias Rey scoring in the 3rd minute to give his team an early lead. India absorbed the early pressure and responded well, with captain Harmanpreet Singh converting a penalty corner in the 12th minute to level the score.

The second quarter saw Argentina regain the lead through Lucas Martinez in the 17th minute. Despite India's efforts to equalize, Argentina managed to hold on to their lead going into halftime.

India started the third quarter with renewed vigor, and Harmanpreet Singh scored again in the 33rd minute via a penalty stroke, bringing the score level at 2-2. However, Argentina responded immediately, with Santiago Tarazona scoring in the 34th minute to make it 3-2.
