Martin Ho has officially signed a three-year contract to become Tottenham Hotspur's head coach, a deal that will keep him with the club until 2028. The 35-year-old coach is set to lead Tottenham Hotspur's Women's Super League (WSL) team.

Ho's journey to Tottenham has been marked by diverse experiences across different leagues and clubs. Before accepting the Tottenham role, Ho was the head coach of SK Brann, a Norwegian club where he made a significant impact. During his time with SK Brann, the team achieved notable success, including a quarter-final appearance in the Women's Champions League in the 2023-24 season. Prior to his stint in Norway, Ho served as an assistant coach at Manchester United, where he was an integral part of Marc Skinner's coaching staff until 2023. His coaching career began in England, with assistant roles at Everton and a head coach position for Liverpool's Under-21 squad.

At SK Brann, Ho's influence was evident in the team's performance. The club finished fourth in the league in 2023, secured the runner-up position in 2024, and is currently performing strongly in the ongoing season, sitting second in the standings. His leadership at Brann has showcased his ability to develop and guide a team to competitive success, making him a promising candidate for Tottenham Hotspur.

The appointment of Ho comes after Robert Vilahamn's departure from Tottenham. Vilahamn led Spurs to a top-six finish in the Women's Super League and the club's first-ever FA Cup final in the 2023-24 campaign. However, the 2024-25 season saw a downturn in results, with the team finishing 11th in the WSL.

Ho's previous experience in the Women's Super League and his success with SK Brann position him as a potentially strong fit for Tottenham. His familiarity with the women's game, combined with his coaching background at various levels, could provide the team with the leadership and expertise needed to improve their performance in the WSL.
