Manchester United have officially announced the signing of French forward Enzo Kana-Biyik. The club confirmed the transfer on Thursday, welcoming the "exciting young forward" to Old Trafford. Kana-Biyik, an 18-year-old France youth international, arrives from Le Havre, where he impressed with nine goals in 18 appearances for the U-19 team last season. He also earned a place on the bench for the first team on two occasions.

Despite joining Manchester United, Kana-Biyik will immediately embark on a loan spell with Swiss Super League side Lausanne-Sport for the 2025-26 season. This move aims to provide him with valuable first-team experience and aid his development. Lausanne-Sport is part of the INEOS portfolio, which also includes OGC Nice, offering Kana-Biyik a platform to gain significant playing time.

Kana-Biyik is considered Manchester United's third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon. Some reports indicate he may be the fourth, also including Harley Emsden-James. United beat out competition from other clubs to secure Kana-Biyik's signature, reaching an agreement towards the end of last season. He joins the Red Devils on a free transfer after his contract with Le Havre expired.

The signing of Kana-Biyik aligns with Manchester United's focus, under INEOS' control, on acquiring top young talent from around the world. The club's website describes him as an "exciting young forward". Although fans will have to wait to see him in action at Old Trafford, the loan to Lausanne-Sport is viewed as a crucial step in his development. Manchester United executives are still working to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, and they are optimistic about reaching an agreement for the 25-year-old forward.
