The victory was a result of steady batting and disciplined bowling from the Indian side, securing them a prominent position in the tournament.

Winning the toss, Pakistan U-19 elected to field first, a decision that initially seemed promising as they restricted India to 240 all out in 46.1 overs. However, the Pakistani batsmen struggled to counter India's bowling attack, ultimately being dismissed for just 150 in 41.2 overs.

India's innings saw a brisk start, reaching 50 runs within the first six overs despite losing two early wickets. They scored 78 runs in the powerplay, demonstrating their intent to put pressure on the Pakistani bowlers. Aaron George anchored the innings, scoring a well-constructed half-century and guiding the team through the middle overs. He received valuable support from Abhigyan Kundu, with the pair establishing a crucial 50-run partnership. George was eventually dismissed after scoring 85. Kanishk Chouhan contributed a useful 46 towards the end of the innings. Pakistan's bowling attack was led by Mohammad Sayyam and Abdul Subhan, who each claimed three wickets. Niqab Shafiq took two wickets, while Ali Raza and Ahmed Hussain each managed one.

In response, Pakistan's batting faltered against India's disciplined bowling attack. They struggled through the powerplay, scoring only 23 runs and losing an early wicket.
