Yash Dayal, a fast bowler for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), is facing serious allegations of mental, emotional, and physical exploitation from a woman in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The woman filed a complaint through the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's online grievance portal, alleging a five-year relationship during which Dayal repeatedly made false promises of marriage and engaged in abusive behavior. Uttar Pradesh police have registered a case against Dayal following these allegations.

The complainant stated that she met Dayal on social media in late 2020 and their relationship evolved over time. She claims that Dayal introduced her to his family as their daughter-in-law, which deepened her trust in him. She alleges that the cricketer exploited her emotionally, mentally, and physically under the guise of marriage. The woman further claimed that she became emotionally and financially dependent on him during their relationship.

According to the complainant, the trouble began when she confronted Dayal about his relationships with other women. She alleges that he responded with physical violence and manipulation. The woman also claimed that Dayal used to lure girls with fame and money and then exploit them.

The woman stated that she contacted the women's helpline number on June 14 but felt the matter did not progress at the police station level. Frustrated with the lack of progress, she escalated the matter to the Chief Minister's office. She claims to possess evidence, including chats, screenshots, video calls, and photos, to support her allegations. A picture of her with Dayal during a Gujarat Titans match has also surfaced online.

Adding another layer to the controversy, a second woman, a member of the Republican Party of India, has also come forward with accusations against Dayal. She alleges that Dayal sent her messages with romantic undertones and has demanded strict action against the player. Some portions of his chats have reportedly gone viral on social media.

Ghaziabad police have recorded the first woman's statement and have issued a notice to Dayal, requesting him to record his statement. Police sources say that the investigation is ongoing, and further action will be initiated once the facts are clear. The UP CM's office has requested a report from the Circle Officer of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad regarding this complaint with July 21 as the deadline for submission.

Dayal, a left-arm fast-medium bowler, represents Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League. He was bought by the Gujarat Titans in the 2022 IPL auction for a significant amount and later joined RCB.

These allegations have cast a shadow over Dayal's career. The investigation is ongoing, and the truth will be revealed as the legal process unfolds.
