Ben Dawkins also played a significant role with a quickfire 66 off 53 balls. Ralphie Albert and Alex French each took two wickets for England.

India U-19, led by Ayush Mhatre, had already secured the series victory with a 3-1 lead before this final match. In the fifth ODI, India U-19 batted first and posted a total of 210/9 in their 50 overs. RS Ambrish was the top scorer for India, remaining unbeaten on 66 off 81 balls. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who had previously scored the fastest century in Youth ODI history off 52 balls in the fourth ODI, was contained to 33 runs in this match.

The series began on June 27, 2025, with the first match at the County Ground in Hove. India U-19 displayed strong performances throughout the series, ultimately winning three of the five matches. The team included promising players such as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who had a noteworthy debut in the IPL 2025 with the Rajasthan Royals.

While England's performance in the final match was commendable, India had already established an unassailable lead. The victory in the last game was a consolation for the England U-19 team.
