The Chicago Wolves have revealed their schedule for the 2025-26 American Hockey League (AHL) season, marking their 32nd year in the league. The 72-game season promises exciting matchups and a quest for the team's sixth league championship.
The Wolves will kick off their season on October 11 against the Iowa Wild in Iowa. The home opener is slated for October 18 at Allstate Arena against their rival, the Rockford IceHogs. The team will play a total of 12 games against Rockford and the Milwaukee Admirals.
Under the guidance of coach Cam Abbott, the Wolves aim to build on last season's momentum and secure their second consecutive postseason appearance.
A highlight of the 2025-26 schedule is the return of matchups against the Toronto Marlies, marking their first encounters since the 2021-22 campaign. The Wolves will host Toronto on November 1 and 2 at Allstate Arena and then travel to Canada to face them on February 28 and March 1.
The schedule also includes 10 games each against Central Division opponents Iowa and Grand Rapids, eight games versus Manitoba and Texas, and four meetings with Cleveland. For the first time since the 2018-19 season, Chicago will face off against the Colorado Eagles, with games in Loveland, Colorado, on February 6 and 7, and at Allstate Arena on February 14 and 15.
"It's nice to have Toronto, Colorado, and Cleveland on the schedule in addition to our steady dose of division play,” said Wolves President of Business Operations Jon Sata. “The Wolves are looking forward to a great season ahead." Sata also noted the significance of the schedule release, stating, "Our schedule release means that hockey season is right around the corner. We have a lot of fun in store for our fans in the upcoming campaign with more details to come."
All home games will be played at Allstate Arena and streamed on FloHockey.
