Indianapolis Colts' Social Media Mockery: A Graphic Attack on Tennessee Titans' Will Levis Deemed Offensive.

The Indianapolis Colts are facing backlash after their 2025 NFL schedule release video included a graphic depiction of Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis being run over by a bus. The since-deleted video, which was styled after the popular video game Minecraft, showed a party bus full of women hitting Levis, who was holding a jar of mayonnaise, a known association with the quarterback.

The depiction of Levis drew criticism, with some observers feeling that it was unnecessarily violent and "crossed the line". Social media users reacted strongly, with some saying the Colts "murdered" Levis in the video.

The Colts' schedule release video, like many across the league, was intended to be a humorous and engaging way to announce the team's upcoming opponents. However, the joke targeting Levis was seen as going too far. The video also included a clip that appeared to mock Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill's past legal issues, which led to further criticism. The Colts have since apologized to Hill and Microsoft, as the video also exceeded their rights with the game Minecraft, which is owned by Microsoft.

The Colts removed the video from their social media channels and replaced it with a series of animated logos depicting the team's schedule. Despite the controversy, Hill himself seemed unbothered by the video, even suggesting that the Colts should have left it up.

The incident highlights the fine line that NFL teams must walk when trying to create engaging content for social media. While humor and rivalry are common elements, there is a risk of crossing the line and causing offense. The Titans will have two opportunities to "avenge" the joke on the field, facing the Colts in Week 3 and Week 8 of the 2025 season.
