An initial "mini-window" ran from June 1st to June 10th, allowing clubs participating in the Club World Cup, like Manchester City and Chelsea, to make early acquisitions. The main summer window then reopened on June 16th and will remain open until September 1st. Notably, both windows will close earlier than usual, at 7 p.m. local time.

In contrast, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 adhered to a more traditional schedule, with their transfer windows opening on July 1st. La Liga's window closes on August 31st, while Serie A and Ligue 1 also conclude on August 30th. The Bundesliga's transfer activity can continue until September 1st.
