Meanwhile, in London, the Wimbledon Championships are reaching their climax. The men's and women's singles finals are scheduled as the last matches of the day, with a 4:00 PM start time. This change aims to enhance viewership in North and South America. Carlos Alcaraz, the defending champion of the Men's singles, is set to compete in the semi-finals against Taylor Fritz. Barbora Krejčíková, the Women's singles defending champion, lost in the third round to Emma Navarro. Notably, automated electronic line judges are being used for the first time in Wimbledon history, replacing line judges.

The UEFA Women's Euro 2025 is also delivering thrilling action. Switzerland secured a spot in the quarter-finals after a 1-1 draw with Finland. Norway also advanced to the quarter-finals as Group A winners after a 4-3 victory over Iceland. The quarter-final lineup is taking shape, with Germany, Spain, and Sweden also booking their places.

In the world of cycling, the Tour de France 2025 is underway, having started in Lille on July 5th and scheduled to finish on the Champs-Élysées in Paris on July 27th. The race consists of 21 stages, including flat, hilly, and mountainous stages, with five summit finishes. The race is taking place entirely within France for the first time since 2020.
