ICC Reveals Women's World Cup 2025 Warm-Up: India to Battle England and New Zealand.

India is set to face former champions England and New Zealand in the warm-up matches for the ICC Women's World Cup 2025, as the ICC has revealed the schedule for these preparatory games. The warm-up fixtures will take place from September 25 to 28, leading up to the main tournament which is scheduled from September 30 to November 2.

All eight teams that have qualified for the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 will participate in the practice matches. Each team will play two warm-up games, except for Australia, who will only play one. India 'A' and Sri Lanka 'A' will also feature in the warm-up fixtures, with India 'A' playing one match and Sri Lanka 'A' playing two.

The warm-up matches will be held across four venues: the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground and the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, and the R. Premadasa Stadium and Colombo Cricket Club Ground in Colombo. In total, nine day-night matches are scheduled across these venues.

India's warm-up schedule includes a match against England on September 25 at the BCCI Centre of Excellence 1 Ground in Bengaluru, and a game against New Zealand on September 27 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. All matches are scheduled to start at 3:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).

The warm-up fixtures will kick off on September 25 with India facing England, and South Africa taking on New Zealand in Bengaluru. Simultaneously in Colombo, Sri Lanka will play Pakistan, and Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka 'A'. The next round of warm-up games is set for September 27, with Australia playing England in their only fixture, Sri Lanka facing Bangladesh, and India playing New Zealand. The final round of warm-up fixtures will be held on September 28, with South Africa facing India 'A' and Pakistan taking on Sri Lanka 'A'.

The ICC Women's Cricket World Cup is returning to the subcontinent after 12 years and will be played from September 30 to November 2 across five venues. The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium and the R. Premadasa Stadium, which are also hosting the warm-up matches, will be joined by the ACA Stadium in Guwahati, the Holkar Stadium in Indore, and the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam as venues for the main tournament. The tournament proper will begin on September 30.
