As the Florida Panthers look to continue their dominance in the 2025-26 season, having secured back-to-back Stanley Cup championships, several games on their schedule stand out as must-watch events. Here are five games that Panthers fans should circle on their calendars:

  1. October 7 vs. Chicago Blackhawks: The Panthers will raise their second consecutive Stanley Cup banner before their home opener against the Chicago Blackhawks. Additionally, it will be a good test for Connor Bedard's greatness as well as the first of three games this night.

  2. November 22 vs. Edmonton Oilers: A rematch of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final. This game will be the first time the Oilers visit Sunrise since Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. It provides an opportunity to see how both teams have evolved since their championship clash and whether the Panthers can maintain their edge.

  3. January 2 vs. New York Rangers (Winter Classic): The Panthers will host the 2026 Discover NHL Winter Classic at loanDepot park in Miami against the New York Rangers. This outdoor game will be the southernmost Winter Classic in NHL history, offering a unique spectacle for fans. The game is part of a four-game homestand during the holiday season.

  4. February 4 vs. Boston Bruins: This is one of five games that the Panthers will play in February, all of which are in Florida. The game is part of a back-to-back, with the second game being against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

  5. March 19 at Edmonton Oilers: The Panthers will visit Rogers Place in Edmonton for a rematch against the Oilers. This late-season game could have significant implications for playoff positioning, making it a crucial contest for both teams.

Several other games also deserve mention. October 21 sees Brad Marchand's return to Boston, this time as a Panther. December is set to be a busy month for the Panthers, with 10 of their 15 games being played at home. A four-game homestand during the holiday season includes games against the Tampa Bay Lightning on December 27, followed by the Washington Capitals and Montreal Canadiens. The team will also have a six-game homestand from November 26 to December 7.
