Everton are reportedly making a strong push to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming Premier League season, with Southampton's Tyler Dibling and Chelsea's Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall emerging as key targets. In an effort to address manager David Moyes's transfer frustrations, the club has reportedly submitted an improved offer for Dibling and opened talks with Chelsea regarding Dewsbury-Hall.

The pursuit of Tyler Dibling has been ongoing, with Everton already having two bids rejected by Southampton. The latest offer is understood to be in the region of £40 million, including add-ons. Despite the increased bid, Southampton are expected to reject the offer, as they value the 19-year-old winger at a higher price. Southampton had previously stated earlier in the year that they would only be willing to sell Dibling for £100 million, but their valuation is now thought to be £45 million. Dibling, who has two years remaining on his contract at St Mary's, is reportedly open to joining Everton. Several other clubs, including Aston Villa, Chelsea, Tottenham, and RB Leipzig, have previously expressed interest in the England U21 international.

Dibling is viewed as a versatile player who can operate both in midfield and on the wing, making him an attractive prospect for Everton. During his breakthrough campaign, he made 38 appearances in all competitions for Southampton, scoring four goals and providing three assists. Russell Martin, Southampton's manager, has lauded Dibling as a "beautiful footballer" and an "outstanding talent".

In addition to Dibling, Everton have also set their sights on Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The club has reportedly opened talks with Chelsea over a permanent deal for the 26-year-old. Dewsbury-Hall only joined Chelsea last summer from Leicester City for £30 million, but he has struggled to secure regular first-team football, starting just two Premier League games last season. However, he did feature in all 15 matches of Chelsea's UEFA Conference League campaign. Chelsea are reportedly looking to recoup their outlay on Dewsbury-Hall, and Everton are confident of reaching an agreement. Fabrizio Romano reports that Everton will pay a fixed fee of £25 million, with add-ons potentially increasing the total to £29 million. Fulham have also been linked with a move for Dewsbury-Hall.

David Moyes is eager to strengthen his midfield options, and Dewsbury-Hall is a long-standing target. A new number 8 is a priority for Everton boss David Moyes along with a defensive midfielder. Leicester's Wilfried Ndidi is also a player that Everton like.

Everton have already completed four signings this summer, bringing in Carlos Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Mark Travers, and Adam Aznou. However, 11 players have departed the club, including nine members of last season's first-team squad. With the new Premier League season approaching, Moyes is keen to add more quality to his squad. He has expressed his frustration at the lack of signings so far, but anticipates deals being done "next week". Everton have missed out on several wide options this summer, including Francisco Conceição and Johan Bakayoko. They also have interest in Lyon's Malick Fofana. Other players linked with a move to Goodison Park include Jack Grealish, Douglas Luiz, and Takefusa Kubo.
