East Bengal FC is set to face the Indian Air Force Football Team (IAF FT) in their final group stage match of the Durand Cup 2025, aiming for their third consecutive victory in the tournament. The match is scheduled for August 10, 2025, at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata, with a 7:00 PM kick-off time.

East Bengal currently leads Group A with six points from two matches, having started their campaign with a dominant 5-0 win over South United FC, followed by a hard-fought victory against Namdhari FC. Their objective is to maintain their winning momentum and secure a perfect record as they head into the knockout stage.

Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force Football Team has already been eliminated from contention for a knockout berth, managing to secure only one point from their initial two games. That point came from a draw against South United FC.

The match will be telecasted on the Sony Sports Network and will also be available for live streaming on SonyLIV.

This is the 134th edition of the Durand Cup, the oldest football tournament in Asia, and the third-oldest in the world. As the traditional curtain-raiser for the Indian domestic football season, the tournament began on July 23 and will conclude on August 23. This year's edition features 24 teams divided into six groups. The group winners and the two best second-placed teams will advance to the quarter-finals.

East Bengal is in Group A alongside the Indian Air Force FT, Namdhari FC, and South United FC. Other groups consist of teams like Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Mohammedan SC, Jamshedpur FC, and Punjab FC, among others. Mohun Bagan SG, the reigning Indian Super League champions, have won the most Durand Cup titles (17), followed by East Bengal (16). NorthEast United FC are the current champions.
