Jack Grealish is poised to join Everton on loan from Manchester City for the 2025-26 Premier League season. The two clubs have reached an agreement that will see Grealish spend the season at Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Grealish's move to Everton comes as he seeks to revive his career after struggling for consistent playing time at Manchester City. After a stellar return to the Premier League with Aston Villa, which earned him a £100 million move to City in 2021, Grealish has not quite replicated that form. He started just seven Premier League games last season and was excluded from City's squad for the Club World Cup this summer.

Everton's interest in Grealish was reciprocated, with the player accepting the opportunity to join David Moyes' side. Grealish reportedly preferred to join a Champions League team, but no offers materialized from clubs like Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The financial details of the loan deal are still emerging. However, it's been noted that Everton were willing to cover a significant portion of Grealish's £300,000-a-week wages to secure the deal. The full cost of the loan move is expected to be substantial.

This move signifies a period of change for Everton, who have already made five signings this summer. Thierno Barry, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Carlos Alcaraz, Adam Aznou, and Mark Travers have all joined the club as they aim to build on their impressive form from the end of the 2024-25 season, following Moyes' return as manager. The arrival of Grealish will further bolster their squad.

Grealish is expected to undergo a medical before the deal is finalized. He is eager to secure regular playing time at Everton, which would boost his chances of making the England squad for next summer's World Cup.

Fabrizio Romano reported that Grealish has agreed to the project at Everton and is set to complete his move soon. The move is seen as a significant addition for David Moyes as he continues to reshape his squad. Meanwhile, Manchester City are reportedly in talks to sell Brazilian winger Savinho, with Tottenham Hotspur interested but needing to increase their offer to meet the asking price of at least £50 million.
