Saturday witnessed a day of dramatic encounters in the Championship, with Coventry City's remarkable comeback against Derby County and Birmingham City's late victory over Blackburn Rovers taking center stage.

At Pride Park, Coventry City, managed by former Derby boss Frank Lampard, orchestrated a stunning turnaround to defeat Derby County 5-3. The game was a rollercoaster, with the teams trading goals in the first half. Derby twice came from behind to level, and then took the lead themselves through captain Ebou Adams. However, Coventry responded emphatically, scoring three goals in the space of eight minutes to secure a memorable victory. Coventry's first goal was somewhat fortunate, as Jacob Widell Zetterström punched Matt Grimes's free-kick against Bobby Thomas, and the ball ended up in the net. Callum Elder responded with a brilliant free-kick of his own to equalize. Haji Wright then converted a penalty to restore Coventry's lead, but Carlton Morris leveled from the spot after a handball just before halftime. In the second half, Adams put Derby ahead, but Brandon Thomas-Asante equalized for Coventry before Ephron Mason-Clark and Victor Torp sealed the win. Wright's penalty was his first goal of the season.

Meanwhile, at Ewood Park, Birmingham City snatched a 2-1 victory against Blackburn Rovers with two late goals. After a goalless first half, Todd Cantwell's volley put Blackburn ahead early in the second half. Birmingham, who had conceded a late equalizer in their previous match against Ipswich Town, displayed resilience to turn the game around. Jay Stansfield converted a penalty in the 90th minute to equalize, after Ethan Laird was brought down in the box. Then, in the eighth minute of stoppage time, Lyndon Dykes slid in to score the winner, sending the travelling Birmingham fans into raptures. This victory marked Birmingham City's first win back in the Championship.

Elsewhere, Preston North End defeated Leicester City 2-1, with Milutin Osmajic scoring the winner five minutes from time. Jeremy Monga, at 16 years and 37 days old, became the youngest goalscorer in Championship history when he equalized for Marti Cifuentes' side, surpassing Jude Bellingham's record. Stoke City secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. Million Manhoef scored twice for Stoke, while Divin Mubama also found the net. Norwich City won away at Portsmouth, thanks to first-half goals from Harry Darling and Josh Sargent. Barnsley's 10 men were held to a 1-1 draw by Bolton, while Blackpool beat Huddersfield 3-2 in a game that saw Niall Ennis score twice before being sent off.
