Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber has expressed strong confidence in the club's chances of winning the Premier League title this season. Timber's conviction stems from the belief that the Gunners possess all the necessary components for a title-winning campaign, including the right manager, team, and club structure.

Echoing the sentiments of manager Mikel Arteta, Timber believes Arsenal are on the verge of achieving something special. Arteta has instilled a culture that is taking Arsenal to new heights. Timber highlighted Arteta's personal development approach and the significant impact he's had in a short period, pushing him to be his best both on and off the field.

Arsenal has finished second in the last three Premier League seasons. Timber believes that the team was simply not good enough last season and is aiming to make the difference this season. He acknowledges that luck plays a role but insists that ultimately, performance determines the outcome.

Despite a challenging start to the season with tough fixtures against Manchester United, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Newcastle, Timber views each game as an opportunity to win. He emphasizes the importance of focusing on one game at a time, starting with Manchester United, and maintaining a winning mentality. Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown believes the tough opening fixtures could work in their favor.

Timber's confidence is a reflection of the squad's belief that this could be Arsenal's year to end their trophy drought. His return from a cruciate ligament injury suffered last season has further strengthened the team. During his rehab, he felt support and trust from Arteta.

Arsenal's preparations have been boosted by the return of key defenders Gabriel Magalhaes and Jurrien Timber to full training. There is optimism that they will be available for the Premier League opener against Manchester United.
