Bourque is primarily known for being an elite defenseman, while Neely's career was unfortunately shortened due to injury. David Pastrnak led the Bruins in goals for the 2024-2025 season, with 43.

The remaining ten of the top twenty goal scorers are Bobby Orr (265), Peter McNab (263), David Krejci (231), Don Marcotte (230), Aubrey "Dit" Clapper and Milt Schmidt (both with 229), Keith Crowder (219), Woody Dumart (211), Glen Murray (209), and Terry O'Reilly (204). Dumart, a left winger, played his entire NHL career with the Bruins, beginning in the 1935-36 season and concluding after the 1953-54 campaign. He was a member of the Stanley Cup-winning Bruins teams in 1939 and 1941.
