The club is keen to finalize the deal swiftly amidst growing interest from other European teams.
The situation in United's goalkeeping department has been under scrutiny, especially after David de Gea's departure. Erik ten Hag initially brought in Onana, with whom he had a good working relationship at Ajax, believing he was the ideal fit for his preferred style of play.
