The historic day has arrived as Everton Football Club prepares to host its first Premier League match at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday, August 24, 2025. The Toffees will welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to their new 52,769-seater waterfront home for a 2:00 PM BST kick-off.

After 133 years at Goodison Park, Everton's men's team bid an emotional farewell in May, defeating Southampton 2-0. Goodison Park will now become the home of Everton Women. The Hill Dickinson Stadium, located at Bramley-Moore Dock, has been prepared for its maiden voyage, marking a new era for the club. The stadium has already hosted a few test events, including an Everton U-18s match against Wigan U-18s in February and a friendly against AS Roma earlier this month.

The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK. In the US, it will be available on the USA Network and can be streamed via Sling TV and other streaming services.

Manager David Moyes faces a defensive crisis, with Nathan Patterson, Vitaliy Mykolenko, and Jarrad Branthwaite all sidelined. However, new signing Adam Aznou has returned to training and could be available for his debut. Jack Grealish is also pushing for his first start. Brighton, managed by Fabian Hürzeler, will be without Jack Hinshelwood but faces uncertainty over Julio Enciso's future. Hürzeler has stated that his team is determined to spoil Everton's party.

Jordan Pickford hopes the move to Hill Dickinson Stadium will be a springboard to ending Everton's trophy drought.

For fans attending the match, wall gates open at 11:00 AM and turnstiles at 12:00 PM. Attendees should enter via Regent Road and expect security checks. Digital tickets, which have been emailed in advance, will be required for entry. Public transport options have been enhanced, with added capacity to shuttle buses and trains. On-stage entertainment begins at 12:00 PM, and the plaza closes at kick-off. The Everton Official Store will be open from midday to 5:00 PM, and the Ticket Office will be open from 11:00 AM.
