As the anticipation for the upcoming hockey season builds, six players from the New York Sirens have received invitations to their respective national teams' summer camps in preparation for the 2026 Olympics.

Canadian Contingent

Four Sirens players have been invited to the Canadian summer camp. Goaltender Kayle Osborne, currently the only goalie signed with the Sirens after Corinne Schroeder's expansion draft selection and Abbey Levy's move to the Boston Fleet, is among the invitees. Osborne had a 2-4-1 record in her first PWHL season in 2024-25 and recorded a shutout in her third career game, showcasing her potential for both Team Canada and the Sirens.

Micah Zandee-Hart, the captain of the Sirens, also received an invitation from Canada. Zandee-Hart has represented Canada in several IIHF World Championships, including the most recent one where she scored a goal and an assist. She has been a consistent presence on the international stage since the 2017-18 season. During the 2024-25 PWHL season, Zandee-Hart recorded three goals and eight assists.

Defender Ella Shelton is another Siren player who received an invitation to Hockey Canada's Summer camp. In the 2024-2025 PWHL season, Shelton tallied four goals and 14 assists. Forward Sarah Fillier also received an invite to the Canadian Summer Camp. During the 2024-2025 PWHL season, she registered 10 goals and nine assists.

Other National Teams

Two other Sirens players received invitations to their national team summer camps. Defender Maja Nylen Persson was invited to the Swedish National Team Camp, while forward Noora Tulus received an invite to the Finnish National Team Camp.

Sirens' Community Engagement

The New York Sirens have been actively involved in community engagement, hosting their first-ever Summer Development Camp for youth players from July 28-31. The camp, held at Richard Codey Arena in West Orange, NJ, welcomed U10, U12, and U14 players. Sirens forwards Savannah Norcross and Elle Hartje, along with defender Jincy Roese, led drills and provided guidance to the young athletes. The camp focused on skill development, game-like competitions, and classroom sessions covering hockey IQ, teamwork, and preparation.
