Following India's 4-1 victory over Malaysia in the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup, head coach Craig Fulton has hinted at further improvements from his team. The win propelled India to the top of the Super 4s table, with China in second place after defeating South Korea.

Fulton acknowledged that the team is not yet at its peak and emphasized the importance of maintaining composure and focusing on intricate details as they prepare for upcoming matches. He had stressed the need for calmness and composure after India's draw against Korea in the Asia Cup. Despite being favored as the World No. 7, India struggled to convert chances against the defending champions, requiring a late goal to equalize. Fulton urged his players to manage high-pressure moments effectively by staying in the moment and focusing on execution. He also voiced concerns over missed penalty strokes.

India's match against Malaysia saw them concede a goal in the first minute. However, they recovered strongly, scoring three goals in the second quarter to turn the game around. Former captain Manpreet Singh had a good night, scoring a goal and providing an assist, earning him the Player of the Match award.

Looking ahead, Fulton is aware of the need for his team to continue improving. With crucial matches on the horizon, including a vital clash against China, Fulton has emphasized the importance of delivering strong results. India's campaign will depend on beating China. For defending champions Korea, their title defense is in a precarious position, and they will need to beat Malaysia and hope for an Indian victory over China.
