Following their triumphant victory at Euro 2025, the Lionesses have confirmed a series of "Homecoming Series" matches to be played across England. These games will serve as a celebration of their achievement and as preparation for the 2027 FIFA World Cup, with qualification beginning in February 2026.

The Lionesses will face four global rivals in the "Homecoming Series". The first match will be against Brazil, the South American champions, at the City of Manchester Stadium on October 25th with a 5:30 PM kick-off. England last played Brazil in the Women's Finalissima at Wembley in 2023, winning 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

Next, the Lionesses will meet their 2023 FIFA World Cup semi-final opponents, Australia, at Derby County's Pride Park on October 28th, with a 7:00 PM kick-off. The Lionesses and Australia played twice in 2023, with England winning the World Cup semi-final 3-1 after losing 2-0 at home in Brentford.

The "Homecoming Series" continues with a match against China PR, the Asian champions, at Wembley Stadium on November 29th, for which over 60,000 tickets have already been sold. The match kicks off at 5:30 PM.

The series concludes with a historic first-ever meeting against Ghana at St. Mary's Stadium in Southampton on December 2nd, with a 7:00 PM kick-off. Southampton is familiar territory for the Lionesses, who won 5-0 against Northern Ireland there en route to their Euro 2022 victory.

Head coach Sarina Wiegman expressed her excitement for the "Homecoming Series," stating, "It is great that we can return to action after our incredible summer with four exciting fixtures at home". She emphasized the value of playing against diverse opponents to prepare for the World Cup qualification. Wiegman also highlighted the importance of taking the team around the country to thank fans for their incredible support.

These matches provide fans across England with the opportunity to see the Lionesses up close and celebrate their Euro 2025 victory. The games will be played in Manchester, Derby, London, and Southampton. Ticket information is available, and supporters can register their interest for hospitality tickets. The game against China will be broadcast live on ITV TBC and ITVX.

The Lionesses' Euro 2025 victory saw them defeat Spain 3-1 on penalties in the final, with Chloe Kelly scoring the winning kick. The team received a heroes' welcome upon their return, with celebrations including a Downing Street reception and a homecoming event in central London.
