The highly anticipated Asia Cup 2025 clash between India and Pakistan witnessed a dominant performance by the Indian bowlers, leading to a batting collapse for the Pakistani side. Pakistan, after winning the toss and electing to bat, were restricted to a meager 127/9 in their 20 overs.

The Indian bowling attack, spearheaded by Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel, dismantled the Pakistani batting lineup. Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets for 18 runs, while Axar Patel supported him with 2 wickets for 18 runs. Early strikes from Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah further compounded Pakistan's woes.

Pakistan's top order struggled to build any substantial partnerships. Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Mohammad Haris early, and Salman Agha fell cheaply. Fakhar Zaman showed some intent but was unable to convert his start into a big score. Sahibzada Farhan offered some resistance with a slow 40. A late cameo by Shaheen Afridi, who scored 33 off 16 balls, helped Pakistan add some respectability to their total.

The Indian bowlers' performance triggered a wave of reactions on social media, with fans expressing their disappointment with the Pakistani batting display. Some fans went as far as to say that the Pakistan team couldn't even compete against India's C team.

India have historically dominated Pakistan in T20Is, holding a 10-3 head-to-head advantage. Both teams entered the match with wins from their opening games. India made no changes to their playing XI from their previous match. Pakistan also fielded an unchanged XI. India's playing XI included Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav (c), Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson (wk), Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, and Varun Chakaravarthy.

The toss saw some drama as India's captain Suryakumar Yadav chose not to shake hands with Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha, adding to the charged atmosphere of the contest.
