Ollie Watkins' Heroics Ignite Aston Villa's Season, Securing Comeback Victory and First Premier League Win.

Aston Villa secured their first Premier League win of the season with a 3-1 comeback victory against Fulham at Villa Park on Sunday. Ollie Watkins ended his goal drought, inspiring the team's resurgence after a difficult start to the campaign.

The victory provided relief for coach Unai Emery, whose team had been struggling in the opening weeks of the season with two losses and three draws. The game began with Fulham taking an early lead through Raul Jimenez, who headed in from a corner in the 3rd minute, threatening to extend Villa's frustration. However, Watkins leveled the score in the 37th minute, lobbing the ball over Fulham's goalkeeper Bernd Leno for his first goal of the season.

The second half saw Villa take control with two goals in quick succession. John McGinn scored with a low shot from around 20 yards in the 49th minute, followed by Emiliano Buendia's close-range finish just two minutes later. These goals sealed the comeback and secured the much-needed win for Aston Villa. This win was Villa's first in the league at the sixth attempt this season.
