Amidst swirling transfer rumors linking Enzo Fernández to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has addressed the speculation, reaffirming the midfielder's importance to the club. Reports have surfaced suggesting that Chelsea might be open to selling the Argentine World Cup winner if a suitable offer is presented, attracting the attention of both Real Madrid and PSG.

Fernández, 25, has been a key figure for Chelsea since his arrival from Benfica in February 2023 for a then-British record fee of £106.8 million. He has even captained the team on several occasions. Despite his significance, some reports indicate that Chelsea no longer considers him "untouchable" and would be willing to negotiate a sale for the right price. His contract runs well into 2032. I hope we're going to have a successful working relationship in the long term and short term". Rosenior also highlighted Fernández's versatility and skillset, praising his technical ability, ground coverage, finishing, and goal-scoring capabilities. "A player of his level can do many different things," he added.
