Jakarta, Indonesia – Indian badminton player Devika Sihag has clinched the silver medal at the Indonesia Masters II 2025, a Super 100 tournament, after a valiant effort in the final against Japan's Nozomi Okuhara. The final score was 21-11, 21-9. The tournament took place at GOR PBSI Sumut, with the finals held on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Sihag's journey to the final was marked by impressive performances, demonstrating her growing prowess on the international stage. This silver medal adds to her growing list of achievements, which includes her recent victory at the Malaysia International Challenge 2025 in Ipoh. In that tournament, she defeated fellow Indian Isharani Baruah in the final with a score of 15-7, 15-12, under the Badminton World Federation's experimental 3×15 scoring system.

The 20-year-old badminton player has been making waves in the badminton world. Earlier in the Malaysia International Challenge 2025, Sihag upset former junior world No. 1 Tasnim Mir in the semi-finals, with a score of 11-15, 15-9, 16-14. She also stunned Japan's world No. 36, Manami Suizu, in the quarter-finals.
