The defense line includes Nikhil Barla, Dippendu Biswas, Bikash Yumnam, Pramveer, Clarence Fernandes, Sajad Hussain Parray, Muhammed Saheef, Subham Bhattacharya, and Suman Dey. The midfield, the engine room of any football team, will be commanded by Vibin Mohanan, Lalremtluanga Fanai, Vinith Venkatesh, Harsh Patre, Rahul Raju, Lalrinliana Hnamte, Macarton Louis Nickson, Manglenthang Kipgen, Chingangbam Shivaldo Singh, Mohammed Aimen, and Huidrom Thoi Singh. Such experiences are invaluable for their development as professional footballers.

The AIFF's long-term vision involves providing consistent opportunities for the U23 team to participate in international windows, ensuring they are well-prepared for major tournaments like the AFC U23 Asian Cup Qualifiers and the Asian Games. This proactive approach aims to create a robust talent pool that can seamlessly transition into the senior national team, strengthening India's position in international football.

The selection of Assam's Parthib Sundar Gogoi in the probable squad highlights the scouting network's effectiveness in identifying talents from various regions of the country. Gogoi, a forward known for his agility and attacking flair, plays for NorthEast United FC in the Indian Super League (ISL). As the U23 team prepares for their assignments in Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, the entire nation will be watching, hopeful that these young footballers will make the most of this opportunity and showcase their potential on the international stage.
