The Seattle Kraken have unveiled their new third jersey for the 2025-26 NHL season. The all-black jersey incorporates glow-in-the-dark elements inspired by the bioluminescence of the Pacific Northwest waters.

The "stealth mode" design marks the franchise's first alternate uniform and includes a matte-black helmet, predominantly black sweater, pants, gloves, and socks. The Kraken logo is presented in tonal black-on-black stitching, with an ice-blue outline that glows in the dark. The glow effect extends to the shoulders, numbers, and names on the jersey.

Kraken Vice President of Brand Aaron Wiggan stated that the team wanted to create something "more menacing and intense" that was also true to the Kraken's mystique, drawing inspiration from the "eerie shadows of the deep Pacific Northwest waters". The all-black kit includes an ice-blue, glow-in-the-dark outline on the crest to reflect the bioluminescence of the region's waters.

Additional design details include sleeve stripes that resemble sonar pings and the geographic coordinates of Climate Pledge Arena on the inner collar. The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe patch is also featured with a glow-in-the-dark outline. The helmets are matte black with a glowing version of the Amazon logo.

Captain Jordan Eberle expressed his excitement for the new jersey, calling it phenomenal and unique. He also noted the eye-catching glow-in-the-dark element and appreciated the inspiration and details behind the design.

The jersey will debut on November 1st at Climate Pledge Arena against the New York Rangers. The Kraken will wear the third jersey for 12 select games during the 2025-26 season. Other home games where the jersey will be worn include November 5 against the San Jose Sharks, November 26 against the Dallas Stars, December 8 against the Minnesota Wild, December 29 against the Vancouver Canucks, January 6 against the Boston Bruins, and January 23 against the Anaheim Ducks.

Season ticket members can preorder the jersey from September 5-10, with presales for the general public starting September 11. The jerseys will be available at Kraken Team Stores and online starting October 5, with additional merchandise featuring the new design arriving on October 9. The team has planned in-arena presentation elements around each game the third jersey will be worn, including glow-in-the-dark details and a dedicated show.
