The Milwaukee Brewers dominated the Minnesota Twins in a 9-0 victory on Saturday, June 21, 2025, securing their third consecutive win and continuing their strong performance as of late. The game, played at Target Field in Minneapolis, saw the Brewers improve to a season-high seven games over .500, with a record of 42-35. In contrast, the Twins suffered their eighth loss in the last nine games, highlighting their current struggles.

Brewers' pitcher Jose Quintana delivered a stellar performance, pitching six scoreless innings and allowing only three hits. Quintana's command on the mound was evident as he effectively shut down the Twins' offense, permitting only one walk while striking out four. His ability to limit potential damage and retire 11 of the last 13 batters he faced after a shaky start was crucial to the Brewers' success. This outing further solidified Quintana's record to 5-2 for the season.

On the offensive end, Isaac Collins had a standout game with two hits and three RBIs. Brice Turang also contributed significantly with two hits and two runs scored. The Brewers initiated their scoring early, with two runs in each of the first two innings. Sal Frelick led off the game with a single, advancing to third on a subsequent hit by Christian Yelich. Turang then drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. In the second inning, the Brewers extended their lead to 4-0, courtesy of a sacrifice fly by Jackson Chourio and an RBI single from Yelich.

The Brewers continued to build on their lead in the later innings. In the eighth, they added three more runs, capitalizing on a three-base error by Minnesota's Harrison Bader. Turang scored on the play, and Collins reached third. Caleb Durbin then drove in Collins with a groundout, followed by Joey Ortiz singling and scoring on Frelick's double. The final runs came in the ninth inning when Turang singled, Rhys Hoskins doubled, and Collins drove them both home with a double to right field, sealing the 9-0 victory.

The game was played under challenging conditions, with temperatures soaring into the mid-90s and high humidity. Despite the heat, the Brewers maintained their focus and executed effectively on both offense and defense. Twins' right-hander Simeon Woods Richardson took the loss, allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits in six innings. The Twins struggled to generate offense throughout the game, managing only four hits in total.

This victory marks a significant turnaround for the Brewers, who are now playing their best baseball of the season. Meanwhile, the Twins are mired in a slump, struggling to find consistency in their pitching, hitting, and fielding. The Brewers have clearly dominated the series so far, showcasing their strength and determination as they aim to continue their winning streak.
